LET ME TOUCH™(startup) has put together two existing capabilities: biometric recognition and electronic financial transactions  to create a groundbreaking new retail payment service. We have developed a highly scalable, secure and easy-to-integrate platform to support its rapidly growing operations.

Today’s technology can finally do the job of bridging distances, closing information gaps, containing settlement risks, and generally reducing transaction costs. Thanks to technology, we can finally envision a world in which depositing and withdrawing money could be just another product that your local store offers.

Using the MICROSOFT ultimate generation technologies, like Windows Communication Foundation and Windows Azure, we're commited to deliver a unique platform to help the retail sector to down their frauds and to deliver to customers (shoppers) a new, convenient and fast way to pay.

Built from the ground up as an Authentication/Autorization platform, LET ME TOUCH™ has developed the world’s most advanced and flexible Authentication Platform. LET ME TOUCH™ Network delivers flexible Electronic Network Services that support the unique payment requirements of specific industry verticals including financial transactions, medical, and other retail and non-retail segments of Small to Medium Enterprises.

  • Front-end modules and applications: LET ME TOUCH™ provides a front-end Appliance developed in-house.
  • Robust back-end services: Everything a merchant needs to deploy and manage Rewards Programs, including payments.
  • Carrier grade network: The Platform is backed by a carrier-grade IP network and backbone that is connected globally to tier-1 operators, and is constantly monitored for quality.

"Basically, the transaction is based as shown here: [1] the front-end (p.e. at the grocery) and [2] the backoffice (at our DataCenter).
The front-end is an appliance — like a VISA/MASTERCARD machine — running Windows XP Operational System where the transaction information (like amount, date, hour, etc) is gathered; with a plugged biometric sensor - where the customer's fingerprint is obtained - and all this package information is sent to the backoffice DataCenter. The DataCenter will receive the package information from the frontend, will opens the package, and will apply an algorithme to perform the fingerprint matching, between the finger gathered and one other pre-registered stored at the datacenter. At this point, if the matching is true, the transaction is allowed, otherwise, the transaction will be denied."

LET ME TOUCH™ installs a network appliance within a SmartShop store to collect point-of-sale data, but it transfers this and the fingerprint scan through a web connection to its own hosted applications, where it runs the algorithms against shopping and promotional data to produce the personalized coupons. “This is all controlled via web-based applications.”  XML and other web services integration technology make it feasible to collect, analyze and distribute the data on which SmartShop is based.

We group the design criteria we used into three main categories: Retail Front End, LET ME TOUCH™ Services/DataCenter and 3rd Party (like Financial Partners) . These criteria have been observed (transactions participants) to be key considerations for our business Network.
